It is an industrial organization in the field of plastics processing industry in China, it is a nationwide and non-profit social organization with the qualification of legal person. And it is guided and supervised by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of State Council and China National Light Industry Council.

Basic Functions:Reflecting the demands of the industry; Studying the industrial development trends; Assisting to formulate the industrial development programs; Coordinating the relations inside and outside the industry; Representing the interest of members; Presenting industry opinions and suggestions to the government; Organizing exchanges and training; Participating in quality management and supervision; Providing technical consultation; Implementing industrial guidance and promoting industrial development as well as safeguarding the security of the industry.
